Holiday Inn Resort Deadwood Mountain Grand, an IHG Hotel

I was shocked how nice this "Resort" was. Not a normal Holiday Inn Express this is a Resort. Very nice, quiet and clean resort. Very comfortable beds. Very convenient to fun: Casino, restaurant on site or nearby restaurants, walking into downtown Deadwood, close to outdoor theatre for movies/music, and convenient drive to Spearfish Canyon, Mt Rushmore, etc.

The location was great. We were able to walk downtown and back. Although the 2nd day we found out that Chris would give us a ride downtown which was great then we enjoyed our walk back. Actually he gave us a couple of rides which was even better. The restaurant was very good. We had 2 breakfasts and 2 dinners. We also enjoyed eating a meal while watching sports in the lounge.

The rooms were wonderful!

Excellent location and parking, easy walking distance to downtown Deadwood Deadwood itself was a great base for us to explore the Black Hills over three days Comfy, large rooms with really good beds Nice amenities and on site restaurants and bars Casino on site was fun

Everything was clean and great quality. They also had two types of pillows on the bed, one soft and one firm!
